The Staff of Elliott Insurance Group

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Dino Carbone began his career as a commercial insurance underwriter with Aetna Life & Casualty in 1978, and went on to hold various positions with Aetna until 1989. From there, he began working for a Connecticut insurance broker as a commercial insurance account executive. He achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1988.

In 1999, Dino bought the Elliott Insurance Group with his partner, Gary Cardella. At that time, Elliott Insurance had 10 employees and $8 million in sales. Since then, it has grown to 24 employees and has $25 million in sales.

Dino has also been involved with the Southington YMCA Board of Directors and its Risk Management program since 1999. He is proud to be on the Board of Directors of the Greater Southington Chamber of Commerce, and serves as its Chairman as well.

A man who loves to contribute to Southington, Dino has been involved with the Southington Rotary, Southington Unico, the Employment Development Center, and various youth sports programs. He currently calls Southington home.
