The Staff of Elliott Insurance Group
Bob is the Chief Operating Officer at the Elliott Insurance Group. He is a graduate of The University of Connecticut, where he received his BS degree in the School of Business Administration.
Upon graduating, Bob started his insurance career in 1977 with Aetna Life & Casualty in their Property & Casualty Department. There he held underwriting and marketing positions until 1982, when he left to join Northbrook P & C Insurance Co. as Marketing manager. In 1988, Bob left and went to work for a large independent agency, and in 2001 joined the Elliott Insurance Group. In 1986, he attained the Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation.
Bob currently serves as President of the Middletown High School Booster Club. He coached little league for several years and served on the Board of Directors.
Bob has been involved in such industry-related organizations as past President of the Connecticut Insurance Marketing Association and past President of the Southeastern chapter of the Independent Insurance Agents of CT. He also served on several Agency Council Advisory Boards.
Bob lives in Middletown with his wife and two sons.
